Educational Programs and Methodologies:
6 Qs for Early Childhood Education
This educational program is based on extensive research in education which aims to develop the child holistically. It is anchored on the belief that the optimum development of a child (Success Quotient) springs from a foundation that builds his Diligence Quotient (DQ), Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Reading Quotient (RQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Computer Technology Quotient (CTQ).
Comprehensive and Developmental Reading Program (CDRP)
Students as young as two (2) years old are trained to develop their skills and interest in reading considering their developmental readiness, multiple intelligences, different learning styles, and various learning modalities enriched with Computer-Assisted Instruction (CAI).
This program is especially designed for emergent readers (Toddlers to Prep), early readers (Grade 1), and early fluent readers (Grade 2); it is comprehensive in coverage and includes all important skills, processes, and methodologies such as instructional media and technology necessary to make students become successful readers.
Differentiated Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (DCIA)
DCIA considers multiple intelligences, learning styles or various learning modalities, interests and readiness of students in the delivery of instruction in Language, Math, Science, Social Living and Global Education, and Values/Character Formation.
S.P.E.L.L.S. (Strategic Program for Emergent Literacy through Learning Shops)
This program utilizes interdisciplinary approach in presenting subject areas for students to learn through meaningful integration of topics and skills with application to real-life situations.
Beyond Classroom Learning
Psychologists advance the philosophy that meaningful learning activities result to enduring learning - a kind of learning that stays with the individual through life, a kind of learning that an individual can apply in other similar situations. In the Early Childhood Development Program, some of the learning activities that promote enduring learning are those that are done outside the four walls of the classroom.
CULTURAL SHOWS
Students watch cultural shows and learn how to do production numbers like singing, dancing, and acting to cultivate their talents, develop social skills, self-confidence and stage presence.
FIELD TRIPS
Students are given educational exposure outside the school through visits to museums, theaters, zoo, parks, and industrial sites.
INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES
Students undergo real-life situations and explorations through interaction with community helpers. They are also given opportunities to interact with families through class home visits.
FINE-DINING (for Senior Prep up to 2nd Grade students)
Students learn social graces, table manners, and fine dining etiquette.
