Student Admissions Procedure

Step 1 : INITIAL ADMISSION PROCEDURE

  • Secure an Application Form for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program
March – August (for the incoming academic year starting in September)
Time : 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Admissions Office/PR Office/ Registration Office, Ground Floor, Administration Building

 

Step 2 : PAYMENT OF ADMISSIONS PROCESSING FEE
What to do
When
Where
Pay USD 50.00 to Cashier
 
  • Pay the USB 50.00 IB Admissions Processing Fee
March – August (for the incoming academic year starting in September)
Time : 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Cashier’s Office (former PR Office), First Floor, Administration Building

 

Step 3 : SUBMISSION/ ASSESSMENT OF REQUIREMENTS
What to do
When
Where
  1. Present your admission processing fee receipt
  2. Submit the following to Admissions Director
 
  1. Completed Application Form for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program
  2. 2 Letters of Recommendation from 2 teachers who have taught you in the past 2 years
  3. Official Transcript of Records for Grades 9 and 10 or equivalent curriculum grade level
  4. 2 long Folders
  5. 4 pcs. Pictures ( 2x2)
       (Submit items a-c in duplicate)
March – August (for the incoming academic year starting in September)
Time : 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Admissions Office, Ground Floor,
Administration Building
 
*Upon submission of complete application requirements, the admissions  office issues a testing slip for the IB Entrance Examination

 

Step 4 : I.B. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

IB Entrance Exam
 
Examination will cover:
  • IQ (Verbal and Non-verbal)
  • Reading
  • English Proficiency
  • Mathematical skills
Scheduled Examination Date
Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Testing Room, 2nd Floor Administration Building
 
*Admissions office will inform you through either written correspondence or phone call whether or not you have passed the examination. You will also be informed of when your scheduled interview with the IB Diploma Program Coordinator will be. If you don’t hear the Admissions office a week after our exams, please call the admissions office.

 

Step 5 : INTERVIEW WITH THE I.B. COORDINATOR

Bring the following:
 
Any valid ID as proof of identity
Scheduled Interview Date
IB Coordinator’s Office, 5th Floor, West Wing, Luxembourg Campus
 
* After the interview, SISC will inform you, through written correspondence or phone call whether or not you have been accepted in the IB Diploma Program.
